Low rolling resistance
It's a major contributor to minimizing fuel consumption while
lowering CO2 emissions. Using advanced tire
technologies, Ecopia tires offer reduced rolling
resistance compared to leading brands 1 while delivering excellent mileage, irregular-wear resistance and casing durability. It all adds up to a lower impact on our planet.
greater fuel efficiency
Thanks to low rolling resistance technologies Ecopia truck tires can deliver your fleet up to in fuel savings3.
maintain your investment
As with any Bridgestone tire, it is important that
Ecopia truck tires are maintained at proper air
pressure to realize long-lasting treadwear and fuel
efficiency. In fact, according to the
Technology & Maintenance Council of the American
Trucking Associations, a tire that is underinflated by
20% will last only 70% of its potential service life. Regular
checks are necessary to keep performance levels and
mileage at optimum levels.
Lower costs. Greener returns. Based on rolling resistance and field mileage tests, Bridgestone Ecopia and Bandag FuelTech
are our most fuel-efficient and lowest total cost of ownership
tire and retread solution. Combining proprietary low rolling
resistance technology with the industry's most retreadable
casing, Ecopia and FuelTech can help reduce fuel use and
extend tire life for lower costs and greener returns, when
compared to other Bridgestone tires.

The Bridgestone R283 Ecopia, M710 Ecopia, and R197 Ecopia, in
size 295/75R22.5, were compared to the equivalent size of
Goodyear G399 LHS FM, G305 AT LHD FM, and G316 LHT FM and the
equivalent size of Michelin XZA3+, XDA Energy, and XTA Energy.
Results obtained from third party laboratory SAE J1269 rolling
resistance test.
BASys data from over two million Bridgestone, Goodyear and
Michelin brand casings recorded between June 2009 and November
2010 prove that Bridgestone had the lowest percentage of tires
that could not be retreaded due to conditions relating to
casing construction.
Based on EPA SmartWay rolling resistance to fuel savings ratio. Actual results may vary.
